𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 is the form of a noun, pronoun, etc. that shows that the noun, pronoun, etc. has or owns something.
What is the apostrophe "S"
The Apostrophe "S"' is normall used to show possesion, that there is a relationship between two things or that smoething belongs to antother.
Singular nouns
Plural nouns ending in "-S"
I see my friends' car every morning.
My cousins' house is always a mess.
Irregular plural
Singular nouns ending in - S
The actress's role is very difficult.
Mr Lewis's dog always comes in our garden.
As a part a phrase
Add - 'S or only the - ' depending on the rules above
The President of Spain's speech is too long.
No Noun
Sometimes the noun after - 'S is not necessary when the meaning is clear.
